What to Expect
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early for your first appointment so
you can fill out a health history form. It is important that I have a
thorough knowledge of your health history to ensure a safe treatment.
It is requested that all clients shower prior to receiving massage.
Once you arrive, we will begin by reviewing your health history and
then we will create a treatment plan together, based on your
I will then leave the room so you can undress down to your comfort
level and get under the sheet on the table. You will remain
discreetly draped the entire session with only the area I am working
undraped, and a breast drape will be used when needed.
Undressing to just the bottom underwear remaining is typically
preferred, unless your session includes more in-depth bodyreading, then
keeping all underwear on is preferred. You are encouraged to
undress only to your comfort level. Once you are settled on
the table, I will knock before entering the room to begin the session.
I generally work with some sort of ambient music playing, but I will
gladly change the music or work in silence if you prefer. I
will check in with you about pressure, temperature, and general
comfort, but please remember that only you can feel what is going on
inside your own body, and that you should feel free to tell me if
anything is at all painful or uncomfortable. I do my best
work when I am quiet and focused, so you can expect me to remain fairly
silent during the session, except to check in with you and when I need
your participation. When your session is over, I will again leave the
room to allow you to get dressed.
All sessions are completely confidential.
